Sky Digital, Sky+, Sky HD & Sky Freesat

Sky Digital has been available throughout the United Kingdom for a number of years, and does currently boast the greatest channel line up available, however, these channels do incur a monthly subscription and minimum contract.

Sky Digital has a broad range of entertainment, documentary, news, sport, movies and children channels available - something for the whole family, and a viewing package can be personally tailored to your tastes, and more importantly, your budget!

Sky, have also launched a range of enhanced products, namely Sky+ and Sky HD.

Sky+ provides the same great experience of Sky Digital television, but with the advantage being able to record your favourite programmes directly to your Sky+ satellite receiver. You can even watch one channel whilst recording another, so no more film clashes!

Sky HD incorporates all the benefits of Sky+, but with the much improved High Definition service, providing greater picture clarity and more, vibrant colours. You will also notice a huge improvement in sound quality with dolby digital surround sound should you have a home entertainment system.

Sky also offer a free viewing service, labelled Sky Freesat, providing upto 240 FREE digital television and radio channels. However, unlike the Freesat service, Sky Freesat does not provide free High Definition viewing or free recording facilities.
